The main point I was trying to make in my paper was how the writing process is similar to an archaeological dig and that this not only applies to how I write but how others may as well. I tired to support my idea with how an archaeological dig compares to writing in several different ways and that the overall feeling is the same. I think there needs to be a lot added to the paper I felt rushed in the process of writing. I think my introduction is strong and has a nice hook. I would really like to elaborate more on certain thoughts if given more time to work on it.

Summary
ReplyDeleteI believe with this paper you were comparing the writing process of a writer with the job of an archaeologist. How the start of each relates to each other and how they tie together. It was focused more on the broader sense of writing processes rather than a personal sense.
Amanda,
I think you set your paper up very well. You had a very strong introduction, it drew me in. Also your paragraphs had a nice flow and were very detailed. It was very interesting to read, I enjoyed the comparison between the writer and archaeologist. It opened my eyes to a different outlook on writing and I think it was very creative so great job!
Some of your sentences were a little hard to understand. They became very wordy and some had some grammar mistakes that made me re-read them a few times. I would have liked to read more on your personal process of writing and your style. Just try to include yourself into it more and maybe make it a little more conversational. Overall an interesting and enjoyable paper to read. Good job, I hope I was helpful! :)
